Debts of municipal services for energy sources supplied exceed 150 million rubles

ADYGEIYA, October 15, Caucasus Times – The republic municipal public utilities service have run into debt for energy sources supplied of over 150 million rubles.

Noteworthy, over 60 % of central heating system are considered to be inefficient, Nataliya Shadzhe, the head of the Ministry of construction and public utilities department said in her interview with the Caucasus Times correspondent. The managers assure they are ready for the ‘heating season’.

Nevertheless, the local companies supplying energy to the republic are doubtful about optimism of the public utilities service managers, because, the named service has run into debt of 79 million rubles for “Adyg Regional Gas company.” The municipal services also are in the same debt for energy supplied by the regional electric power company. Its regional manager Viyacheslav Daurov said in his interview with the CT agency correspondent, the municipal service managers efforts might be in vain, if they do not extinguish a debt for the energy sources supplied by the electric supply company. The debt for the consumed electric power has reached about 70 million rubles. The republic might face possible blackout and shortage of heat in winter season.
