Police track down and kill two insurgents in Dagestan
DAGESTAN, March 8, Caucasus Times – Two alleged insurgents were destroyed yesterday in Kadyrotar village of Khasaviyurt district of the republic in a special police operation, Caucasus Times reports citing the Interior Ministry press service.
The suspects opened fire as the police squads were approaching a private house, injuring a chief officer. The police forces returned fire and destroyed the militants, the Interior Ministry said.
Artur Saripov and Alimpasha Temirsultanov, the 27-year-old locals of Bamatbekuyrt village wanted by the federal police had been charged with different crimes, including terrorism and robbery.
