Shamil Zainalov has been appointed Prime Minister of Dagestan

DAGESTAN, 6 March, CaucasusTimes. Shamil Zainalov, formerly a Representative of Dagestan in the Russian Council of Federation, has been recently appointed Prime Minister of Dagestan.

President of Dagestan Mukhu Aliev signed a decree appointing Shamil Zainalov a Prime Minister of the republic few minutes after the deputies of the People’s Assembly of Dagestan unanimously voted for Zainalov’s candidature. In total, 119 Dagestani parliamentarians voted for Zainalov.

On Monday, 6 March deputies of the People’s Assembly of Dagestan are going to discuss the candidature of the new Representative of Dagestan in Russia’s Council of Federation.
