Two deaths in an attack on police patrol

DAGESTAN, March 6, Caucasus Times – An attack on police patrol officers came at about 9 p.m. near Novy Kiyakhulai, five kilometers off Makhachkala, the regional Interior Ministry told Caucasus Times correspondent.

One policeman is reported died in the attack. The police patrol returned fire killing a militant. The police dispatched to the scene detained three alleged attackers, including a woman, the Interior Ministry said.
