Woman dies, several passersby wounded in car bombing in Kizliyar

DAGESTAN, February 16, Сaucasus Times – Car bombing came at 5.20 p. m. nearby the district administration office, Caucasus Times correspondent reported citing the Interior Ministry. The bomb was set off as a “Mercedes” with deputy prime minister, the manager of Pension Fund Amuty Amudinov and Security Council head Ahmednaby Mahdigajiyev was passing by. A woman was killed by the blast at the spot, six people, including the securities were wounded. The top officials did not suffer in the incident.

The bombing came to be the second assassination attempt on lives the republic’s officials. Just a week ago deputy Interior minister of Dagestan Mohamed Omarov had been assassinated in Makhachkala.
